With more than 20 years of experience in the financial and capital markets, Mr. Wakimoto has structured a number of projects and taken part in several transactions, in Brazil and overseas and in particular those related to investment funds, including the formation and operation of Brazilian and offshore investment funds; merger and acquisitions transactions of investment managers, advisers and other financial service companies; and capital raising structures and transactions, including seed capital arrangements.

Mr. Wakimoto advises Private Clients on their Wealth and Estate Planning, in Brazil and other jurisdictions. With a vast corporate practice with emphasis on asset management and private equity, wealth and state planning and corporate law.

He is also an active practitioner is merger and acquisition transactions involving primarily investment managers. Mr. Wakimoto practiced as a lawyer in the capital markets area in one of Brazil’s largest law firms. Before that, he was responsible for the legal matters of the asset management and the private banking businesses at Banco BNP Paribas Brasil S.A. and Banco CCF Brasil S.A
